Originally God gave us the
right to pray. This relationship was broken.
Only through Christ are we
restored to our purposes in God, and only through Christ do we have the right
to pray with authority.
God made known to us the mystery of his will
according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ…His intent was that
now through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the
rulers and authorities in the heavenly realm, according to his eternal purpose
which he accomplished in Christ Jesus
our Lord. In him and through him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
